There’s actually a post today.
When the Twins played the Yankees on Wednesday, Carlos Silva pitched bad enough to raise his ERA this spring to 7.62. He gave up 3 runs on 5 hits in 4 innings. He walked 2 and struck out nobody. However, Kevin Slowey is sure doing a lot to raise his stock. He pitched two shutout innings, giving up only a hit while striking out 3. He has thrown 5 innings and given up 0 runs. He’s allowed 4 hits and 3 walks this spring but has also struck out 5. According to Patrick Reusse, he’s the next Brad Radke . Sure, but a Brad Radke that can strikeout 8 or 9+ batters per start.
Sorry there isn’t more, I thought I was going to have more time to add stuff but I didn’t.
