4.0 IP, 9 hits, 6 runs (4 earned), 1 walk, 4 strikeouts. If he is on the starting staff for the playoffs, I will boycott the Twins for the rest of my life.

8-1 was the final with Alex Rodriguez hitting 2 homeruns, one off of Silva and one off of Matt Guerrier.

Brad Radke won’t pitch for another 2-3 weeks at best, because of a stress fracture in his glenoid bone. It’s not like we didn’t know it was his glenoid bone anyways.

Other than the fact that Carlos Silva, our offense decided it caught the bird flu and needed a week-long break from doing anything productive. Seriously, let’s start playing against the likes of Randy Johnson, Mike Mussina, Pedro Martinez, Roger Clemens, Curt Schilling, anybody who can actually pitch good, because we lose every game against a pitcher who is subpar at best. We face a no-namer tomorrow, so expect the worst. That way if we do lose, you won’t feel so bad, and if we win, it will be a miracle on the diamond.

4 hits in 31 at bats leaves me lacking for material on the hitters. A double and 3 singles, hurray. Ron Gardenhire threw in the towel in the 8th when he put in Alexi Casilla, Chris Heintz, and Lew Ford.

Newest Twin Phil Nevin was 0-for-2 with 2 walks and a strikeout, which is an improvement over Torii Hunter‘s 0-for-3 with 0 walks and 2 strikeouts.

By the way, I’ll pay somebody $5 to walk around downtown Minneapolis shirtless with www.twinsnottwinkies.wordpress.com written in black magic marker on their chest and back.
