Like I said yesterday, this post is all about trying to get some more traffic to the site. Only Twins-related news is this: the playoff rosters are not final yet, and I heard they need to be set before 10 AM tomorrow morning. However, I also heard they can be changed between ALDS and ALCS, so the roster would only be for the Oakland series.

It’s been awhile since I’ve heard any body talk about Joe Mauer and Chelsea Cooley. Apparently they’re still dating, but who knows. He’s a lucky guy, though:

Search engine term (S.e.t.): Mauer Clutch. He is quite clutch, with a .408 batting average with runners in scoring position and 2 outs.

S.e.t.: Minnesota Twins suck. I can’t say they do, as they just finished one of the most remarkable comebacks in baseball history.

S.e.t.: minnesota twins trivia. Don’t do that any more, sorry. It was kinda fun while it lasted.

S.e.t.: “jason bartlett” personal blog. To my knowledge he doesn’t have one. You may be thinking of Pat Neshek‘s website.

S.e.t.: email minnesota twins announcers. Try the form that’s on this website to get in contact with them.

S.e.t.: MINNESOTA TWINS SUCK. Again, not really. Are you just a jealous White Sox fan?

S.e.t.: ron coomer fsn. I don’t know why you’d want to search for “Coomdog”, but maybe try here for some more info.

S.e.t.: torii hunter snagging home run. It’s always nice when that happens, isn’t it? Like the time he did it in the All-Star Game against Barry Bonds?

S.e.t.: 2006 twins batting order. It consists of 8 position players and a DH.

S.e.t.: if twins win division who do they play. Well, they won it, and they now face the Oakland A’s at the Metrodome.

Speaking of Bonds, a story was released the other day about players who possibly used illegal substances. All these names were blacked out on a report in Jason Grimsley‘s steroid deal. Well, the names are some big ones: Roger Clemens, Miguel Tejada, Jay Gibbons, Brian Roberts, and Andy Pettitte. This does not necessarily mean that they used steroids or HGH, but it certainly puts them in the spotlight. The full story can be found here.

There you have it folks, my first ever “advertising day”. Hopefully it draws some new visitors to the blog. And one last note, it’s cool to see that at this moment my blog is listed as the 56th fastest-growing blog on That changes daily, and goes by the difference in views you got from one day to the next and I had a lot yesterday, so I probably won’t be on it tomorrow.
