Joe Nathan blew a save, his 1st this year, and Matt Guerrier gave up some singles in the 10th to lose the 2nd game in this series.

Torii Hunter was 3-for-5 with 2 RBI, those coming off a homer in the 2nd inning.

Boof Bonser pitched 6 innings, he allowed 6 hits and walked 4 but allowed just 1 run.

Jeff Cirillo is back and went 2-for-4, but didn’t score a run or drive in anybody.

Carl Crawford made another bonehead running mistake to let the Twins double him up; he overran second base on a pop fly and couldn’t get back to the base.

Michael Cuddyer was penciled in before being scratched about 20 minutes before game time. He said yesterday he would insist on playing, so at least he thinks it’s not a big deal, but the trainers might think otherwise. I guess I don’t know what a bruised back feels like. Seems like it would hurt to swing the bag with any force, but maybe Mike will play through it.
